United States Senator Edward Markey and Representative Jared Huffman introduced on March 3 that they’d reintroduce the Crypto-Asset Environmental Transparency Act in Congress. The switch comes before a Senate listening to on the environmental affect of crypto mining, which Markey will chair on March 7.
Markey and Huffman first introduced the invoice in December, within the outdated Congress. Senator Jeff Merkley acted as a co-sponsor within the Senate.
