Web3 infrastructure agency Soar Crypto and decentralized finance (DeFi) platform Oasis.app gain conducted a “counter exploit” on the Wormhole protocol hacker, with the duo managing to claw relief $225 million payment of digital assets and switch them to a web wallet.
The Wormhole attack came about in February 2022 and saw roughly $321 million payment of Wrapped ETH (wETH) siphoned through a vulnerability within the protocol’s token bridge.
