Oman financial regulator seeks feedback on proposed digital asset framework

The Sultanate of Oman is inching closer to launching its have digital asset guidelines, with its financial markets regulator looking out for public comments on its proposed regulatory framework governing digital property, corresponding to cryptocurrencies.

The Capital Market Authority of Oman is currently within the plot of drafting a total regime for the digital asset sector, which accommodates varied industry requirements and market abuse prevention, it said within the consultation paper published on July 27.
