Matter Labs CEO denies copy-pasting code from Polygon Zero

Alex Gluchowski, the co-founder and CEO of zkSync creator Matter Labs, has denied copy-pasting code from Polygon Zero after the zero-knowledge scaling firm accused it of copying the code from their system with out merely attribution.

On Aug. 3, Polygon Zero printed a prolonged weblog post asserting it believed Matter Labs copied what they described as “performance-crucial substances” of their zero-knowledge system known as “Plonky2.” The code was as soon as seen on Matter Labs’ honest no longer too prolonged within the past-launched proving system dubbed “Boojum,” with out attributing the code’s fashioned authors, essentially based on Polygon Zero.
