
The husband and accomplice speculated to catch laundered billions of greenbacks price of Bitcoin linked to the 2016 Bitfinex hack catch reached a plea settlement with authorities in the US.
According to records filed with the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on July 21, Ilya Lichtenstein and Heather Morgan are scheduled to appear for an arraignment and listening to on Aug. 3 as section of a plea settlement with prosecutors. The pair had been charged with money laundering conspiracy and conspiracy to defraud the U.S., and they're expected to forfeit digital resources linked to the case.
